Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certifications Program
Siemens AG, one of the world's largest high-tech manufacturing corporations, is a leader in complex technologies, particularly in complex systems integrating electrical, mechanical and computer engineering. The marriage of these three engineering fields, better known as mechatronic systems, plays an ever-increasing role in technology: from your car to your household appliances, from public transportation systems to electric power generators, in short, almost every aspect of daily life.
The SMSCP is a comprehensive industry skills certification offered together with partner schools worldwide. A central theme in the SMSCP is the System Approach, a special set of teaching and learning methods developed over 25 years in Siemens technical schools in Germany.
August 7 and 8, 2008: Mechatronic Systems Certification One-Day Seminar with Amatrol in Jeffersonville, Indiana USA
The Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) celebrates its partnership with Amatrol in a one-day joint seminar held on August 7 and 8 at Amatrol in Jeffersonville, Indiana USA. Amatrol is the Preferred Equipment Partner for the SMSCP, and is proud to be the host of this event.
Note: This is a one-day seminar, repeated both days. It is not necessary to attend both days!
At the seminar, you can find out more about the latest developments in mechatronics education in general from experts in the field at all levels, from technical college to workforce development to university-level education. You can also get further information about the SMSCP as it is implemented in the USA and around the world. In addition to the regular program, a special dinner will be held for all participants (regardless of which day you attend, August 7 or August 8). Dr. Razvan Panaitescu from Siemens Energy and Automation USA will be the speaker.
