Motlow State Community College is one of thirteen community colleges governed by the Tennessee Board of Regents, the sixth largest system of higher education in the USA. The College is located in Lynchburg, Tennessee, USA, and was founded in 1969.

Today, the college offers high quality two-year associate degree programs and certificates in a variety of educational fields for a student body of about 5000 students. Students of all ages come to Motlow to improve and/or update their existing career skills and knowledge by completing a certificate program, or to complete a two-year program of study for the purpose of entering the workforce or transferring to a 4-year school to complete an undergraduate baccalaureate degree.
