On February 8, 2010, a group of students from the BMW Berufsausbildung Berlin began instruction at Siemens Technik Akademie Berlin, focused on the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP).

They will be trained on Levels 1 and 2 of the SMSCP in preparation for their student certification examinations later this year. The program, taught in English, will cover the four courses in Level 1 and the six courses in Level 2 over a series of several weeks. The program will be taught part of the time at STA Berlin and part of the time at the main BMW motorcycle plant, also in Berlin.
